With the huge growth of our work in Malawi, we need help to provide Bibles. Here are a few of the things you can do:
- Run the Comrades for the Malawi Sena Bible Project.
- Use whatever event you are doing to raise funds for Bibles – Argus, Midmar etc. You can even do so online through our page on the GivenGain website (www.givengain.com). Contact us.
- Sponsor pastors’ study material (R500 for all his books).
- Take up the “Bible Box” challenge to provide a box of Bibles within a certain period. (R2,400 for a box of Bibles – to purchase, transport and deliver to a specific church.)
- Start an entrepreneurial project to raise funds.
- Complete a debit order in favour of this project or increase your current debit order.
The Harvesters Bible School (HBS) Pastoral Training material is developing quickly. During the last month we received the printed books from the printers for Phase A – D. Phase E should be completed by the end of April and the final book – Phase F – should be completed by August.
Translations into Chewa, Swahili, Portuguese, Tsonga and Luganda are underway. Swahili and Chewa Phases A-D will be completed soon.
Pastor Michael Agoye Ouma (photo) attended our Roots to Fruits conference for the first time. As Michael grasped the vision to plant churches, train pastors, disciple people and provide Bibles his excitement grew and his vision expanded. Kenya has many churches, but many of them are cults or have no Biblical basis. Together we strategized to plant over 20,000 churches in Kenya over the next decade. Pray for Michael as he helps us start the work in Kenya.
